Hello lovelies! My name is Mai Stor, I live in Israel and I'm a 14 year old girl who has strong passion for fashion! Since I was 10 years old I started to be more involved in the fashion world: I watched runways on 'Fashion TV' and looked over blogs. It took me 4 years to decide that I wanna be a fashion blogger and try my best to succeed.

My style is changing- sometimes I can wear a lovely dress, sometime I can wear crazy leggings and even a good old pair of jeans :) I get inspired mostly from my favourite bloggers, some runways and magazines (I'm not reading a lot, but when I do, I do get inspired!) I can't leave the house without my headphones, my phone, some wipes and a key. And from all of them my favourite is my phone (of course!) because there are a lot of songs of my all time favourite singers, social media like Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram!

My favourite season is definitely fall, because the style is more than amazing, it's gorgeous. I love the brown colours; they are so warm and cosy for fall time. And I am the kind of person that lights a scented candle in her room, because I like when my room smells delicious- vanilla scent, yummy <3

That feels great! It's the best news I've had all week, it's nice to know my hard work is worth while.

What made you want to join the Motel Rocks Street Team?

I've been a huge fan of Motel Rocks for a long time and once I saw my favourite bloggers collaborating with motel for lots of exciting things, I decided to get in on the action!

What advice would you give to other teamers?

The best advice I could give is to be creative. Don't just put your banner in a corner of your blog, go out and talk to people and casually mention your code, print stickers and business cards and hand them out or leave them in places. My hairdresser was kind enough to let me leave a few cards on her counter.

Any tips on how to make the most of being a Street Teamer? 

Motel is one of the best brands to work with so make the most of it by creating wishlist posts and styling your favourite item over and over again, showing your readers how versatile their pieces can be. Be genuine, in my case, I genuinely love Motel!

What’s the best thing about being in the Street Team?

Best thing about being a street teamer is the community side of it. Once you see a fellow blogger is also a member it gives you something to talk about and can be a bit of an icebreaker. In fact, I just gave my code to someone on my Uni course who I've only just met today.

I saw a bunch of other bloggers that were part of the motel street team and I thought it was a really great way to get bloggers involved with the brand and it was really easy to sign up too.

What advise would you give to other teamers?

Promote your code when and wherever you can, I promote on instagram and on my blog. I also give my code to friends so they can get discounts off too! 

Any tips on how to make the most of being a Street Teamer? 

Tell everyone and anyone about your code, everyone loves a discount!

Whats the best thing about being in the Street Team?

The commission is really great as I don't have a lot of money being a student so by promoting a brand that I really love and getting clothing in return is a really great system which I think more brands should take note of! I also find the street team really encourage bloggers to promote with blogger competitions and sale preview, which makes being part of the street team really fun. I love how motel really gets us involved with their brand.

Meet our ST Stylist Lorna Collins!

“Hello everyone!

I’m Lorna, an eighteen year old student who’s studying Fashion Promotion in September. Some things I can’t go a day without are: good music, incessant amounts of tea and reading fashion magazines and blogs. Being picked as a Motel Street Team Stylist is super exciting for me and perfect as I absolutely love the entire Motel Rocks store... No exaggeration. My blog, Girl in Albion, is a mixed bag of things ranging from my personal style to favourite brands (featuring Motel Rocks - of course!) and trends that are catching my eye at the moment.

It’s difficult to pin down but I’d say my style is a combination of marshmallow cute with a slight rock ‘n’ roll edge whenever I’m feeling like it. It’s inspired by whatever I see in magazines and stick onto my walls in the spur of the moment – I have pictures of punk heroine Debbie Harry to dainty and graceful Audrey Hepburn. One day I’ll be all about the pastel ice cream colour palette and the next day I’ll be in a world of leather and studs.  The best thing is being able to mix them together and experiment with my style.

My favourite summer trends involve floral prints, lemon sorbet and mint hues and anything covered with daisies!  This is where Motel Rocks comes in with their wonderful summer-themed items. I can’t stop looking at the Penny Babydoll Dress in Daisy Appliqué, it fits in with the monochrome trend AND features daisy appliqué detailing around the neckline and sleeves – insanely cute and a definite must-have. I’m also lusting after the Dora Frayed Denim Short in Blue Marble Print after buying the dress version. The vibrant tie dye print would be perfect paired with a 90’s crop top at a festival or on the beach!

Meet our ST Stylst Ciara O' Doherty!

Hello lovelies!

My name is Ciara and I am a presenter, fashion writer, and all-round dreamer blogging from www.WildChildStories.com. Fashion, and the media are my absolute passions, and I had so much fun using them to get creative with my Street Team Stylist Tasks, so as you can imagine I was SO happy when I chosen to be a Street Team Stylist! Im an adventurous, fun-loving girl, so I can't wait to see what kinds of mischief myself and the other ST Stylists will get up to!

Motel has to be one of my favourite online shops right now. They're not afraid to be bold with their designs and trends, but they always get it so right! When I throw on a Motel skirt or dress for a night-out, I know I'm going to have a good time. One of my all-time favourite Motel pieces simply HAS to be the Gabby Sequin Dress, it's my ultimate party dress, and I've gotten so much wear out of it! Im really loving Motels new Shiva Print pieces at the moment, the colours are just beautiful, and I think they're the perfect summer party-wear. Im also really digging the Marble-Print Kimono jacket, it would be perfect as a light cover-up on a hot day!

My style is very eclectic, its always changing depending on my mood. I love hunting for bargains online and in thrift shops, and mixing it up with highstreet finds. You don't need to spend a fortune to look great, its all about mixing and matching the right pieces! At the moment I'm wearing lots of colour, and experimenting with some fun prints for Spring/Summer.

Wear motel as often as possible! Then when people ask where the it's from you can tell them and pop them your discount code too :-)

Whats the best thing about being in the Street Team? 

There's always loads of exciting opportunities, from the recent styling task to the sneak previews of sales! The commission's a wee bonus too, I've used it towards to many nice Motel pieces.

Hi Motel lovers, my name's Hannah and I'm a twenty-one year old illustration student, music lover, clothes obsessive and blogger at Daisies and Dr Martens. I was recently picked as a Motel Street Team stylist which was so exciting as I love Motel - their statement pieces are perfect for bringing life to any wardrobe!

As an illustration student I'm always looking for visual inspiration, style or otherwise, which tends to result in my own personal style being quite varied: however, I generally favour alternative styles and I'm addicted to monochromatic or all-black looks. Still, I like mixing different textures to keep things interesting and adding a bohemian twist to outfits, particularly in the summer. I also believe you can never have too many accessories! Recently I've been obsessed with mixing and matching separates: patterned skirts, lace crop tops, and next on my summer style to-do list is to try clashing prints: I have my eye on the Dana Paisley tops to try this with!

My favourite trend this season has to be the revival of the 90s, taking all the best bits and bringing them back - I love the sense of nostalgia. I can never get enough crop tops, chokers and chunky shoes! I also love a good girlie print (my current favourites are tie dye and floral) which break up an all-black look perfectly.

Some of the items I'm lusting over from Motel this season are the Penny Tie Front Crop Shirt in Daisy Applique which would be great for holiday but could be worn all year round, the Zena Bodycon Dress in Black and White Shiva Print (a girl on my course bought the rainbow version and it looks amazing on her!) and of course the Catalina off-shoulder skater dresses (particularly the Pink Buzz Flower Print) - however, I have tons of wishlist posts with outfit inspiration that you can check out here. It's crazy!! I was always so jealous of the other Street Teamers when they got Street Teamer Of The Month, and I never thought it would ever be me! It's a fantastic feeling to be recognised by a brand I love so much!

What made you want to join the Motel Rocks Street Team?

Mainly because the brand is just so good! I've always loved Motel and when I found out about the Street Team I joined instantly. It's so great to feel apart of a community.

What advise would you give to other teamers?

For me owning Motel clothes is the key! How can you try and sell something to somebody if you don't fully understand the brand? Advertise, advertise, advertise! Show off what you've bought on your blog or what you'd like to buy and then link them to Motel Rocks and mention your code. It really works!

Any tips on how to make the most of being a Street Teamer? 

Get involved in the community by entering competitions and talking to other Street Teamers! Also make sure you mention your code to everyone (friends, family, bloggers) so you can earn great commission and buy cute clothes!

Whats the best thing about being in the Street Team?

My favourite thing is the commission! Being a student, I wouldn't normally be able to afford the clothes that I really like, so gaining commission for advertising really helps me out. I get to look stylish and help out a brand that I really like - what could be better than that?

It feels absolutely amazing! Its such an honour to be recognised by an international brand whom I love so much! I always check my emails first thing in the morning, so seeing this news in my inbox was such a wonderful start to the day!

What made you want to join the Motel Rocks Street Team?

Mainly because I love the brand so much, I own quite a few Motel Rocks pieces now, and I figured being a Street Teamer would work well with my blog and other social networking sites, which thankfully, it did!

What advise would you give to other teamers?

Don't be afraid to put yourself out there, and get sharing your code! Style some looks using your favourite Motel pieces, and share your code with the outfit post, or even just make a mood-board with some of your top picks of the season, and share your code alongside that. 

Any tips on how to make the most of being a Street Teamer? 

 Get creative with it, and try to think of new and interesting ways to share your code. People will respond better when there is some thought put into it, rather than just spamming people.

Whats the best thing about being in the Street Team?

It's great to be working along side an amazing brand like Motel, and of course getting to put my commission towards some lovely new bits for my wardrobe is always a pleasure, but I have to say that best thing by far about being a Street Teamer is when people tell me they've used my code to buy something that they really love, or when people thank me for sharing it, that's always a really great feeling!

Amazing! I'm so happy! I was out when I received the email on my phone telling me I was Street teamer of the month, it felt like I had won an oscar or something! I did a little excitement squeal, a few people gave me odd looks..

What made you want to join the Motel Rocks Street Team?

I've been a huge fan of Motel Rocks ever since it started and I own copious amounts of items from it too. I thought it would be awesome to do something that could help everyone and it also allows all my favourite ladies/bloggers/friends to grab a wicked discount! 

What advise would you give to other teamers?

Don't shove your code in people's faces, as tempting as it is! If you're a blogger pop the code in with an outfit post or now and again on twitter. I share my code on my blog, tumblr and twitter mostly, so do what tickles your fancy and have fun with it :)

Hi everyone! I’m Melanie and I blog over at Those Things They Said. First off, I’d like to thank Laura for selecting me as the Street Team’s ‘Blogger of the Week’…I’m tremendously honored! Now, I don’t think I can tell you enough about how much I love Motel Rocks. Each season, I fall in love with all the new prints and styles and I’m always thoroughly impressed with the quality. Tried and true, my Jordan jeans are amongst my favorite Motel purchases. Not only are they the most comfortable pants that I own, but they make such great statement wardrobe pieces. The fit is also really flattering which is something that usually concerns me with pants as I’m on the curvy side and usually have to deal with my pants “gapping” (if you have this problem, size down to your waist size and the stretch can accommodate your hips!). I know I’ve found something worthwhile when I own it in multiples (I have three, haha.) Right now I’m really into the Laynie dress with the cross embellishments. It’s such a cute dress that’s in line with my personal style. The baby doll cut paired with the sheer top is so dainty and perfect. This would definitely go great with a pair of Doc Martens or Jeffrey Campbell Tardy boots as well as some basic accessories. I’m basically in love with any of the styles with the cross embellishments…they’re all so edgy! If you guys would like to see any more of how I style my Motel items, feel free to check out my blog. I've been obsessed with Motel Rocks for years, and own a heap of pieces from the brand. I thought it'd be fantastic to join such an interesting community, spreading the word around about the brand and showing others how amazing it is!

What advise would you give to other teamers?

Don't spam people with links and discount codes! It annoys people. Mention your discount code in outfit posts or photos featuring a Motel Rocks item for example, or if you love a certain piece on the site - link it, and mention your code. Posting the code once or twice a week is perfect!

Any tips on how to make the most of being a Street Teamer? 

Have a genuine interest in the brand, and take an interest in other Street Teamers too. It is a community at the end of the day, jam-packed with other like-minded girls!

Whats the best thing about being in the Street Team?

Spreading the word around about one of my favourite brands! I love hearing back from a reader saying they used my code to get a piece from the site!

Heres our first blogger Ciara from Wild Child Stories Blog and we just love her and her fab review of our  Gabby Sequin Dress in Iridescent Green, enjoy!

"Hi Guys! 

Its Ciara here from WildChildStories, and I have been given the very fun task of reviewing one of the hottest new Motel Rocks dresses for you all. I had purchased the Gabby Sequin Dress in Iridescent Green recently, using my special 20% Street Teamer Discount, and I have worn it quite a few times since! I've had a lot of people asking me about the fit of the dress and the quality of the sequins, so I thought it would be best to write a little review for everyone!

Look:

Firstly, I have to say that the quality of the sequins are fantastic! What gives the dress its uber-sparkly look is that the sequins are actually iridescent, so depending on how the light hits them, each sequin cast off colours of green, blue and turquoise! I already have a few sequinned pieces in my wardrobe, but none of them have the same type of colour-changing sequins, so I was really impressed by this dress, and just how sparkly it is.

Fit:

 I am 5'8" and a size Uk 10, and as Motel Rocks garments usually run very true to size, I felt confident ordering a size 10. I definitely made the right choice, as the size 10 fits me like a dream! Its fits nice and snug on your body (typical of the body-con style) but there is a slight "give" or stretch in the fabric, so you're certainly not uncomfortable wearing it all night. The material is also quite thick, which I always find looks and feels better than thinner material on body-con dresses. One thing that I found when I first tried on the dress was that the sleeves felt a little tight, but after wearing the dress for an hour or so they loosened and the fit was perfect.

Overall:

I have to say, this dress has severed me very well already, I even managed to incorporate it into my Halloween costume!  I went was a superhero called "Lady Sparkle", and this super-sparkly number was the perfect addition to my look!  For me, the Gabby Sequin Dress is the Ultimate Party Dress, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to make a statement!  It is also available in Silver and Black sequins, but Motel have recently released the dress in Iridescent purple too, and I am very tempted to get it!

Tips for Teamers!

Some of our best teamers are pretty crafty and this teamer made her own stickers! 

Its a great way to get your code seen by LOTS of people but do remember to be careful where you tag, and always try to get permission.
